Rhythm of the Earth

A long time ago

When we were a part of nature

When we would listen

Lullaby of rippling waves...

Laughter of the forest...

Melodies composed by the birds...

We heard

Rhythms deep within the earth inside of us

Replaced by rhythms of society

Imprisoned in basements people

Alive inside minds unaware

People began destruction of nature

Considered we could control the world

With scientific developments and evolution

A long time ago

When we were a part of nature

The earth’s rhythms spoke to us

But when again we feel we want to know

The ones who could tell us are already gone...
