Material wealth and individual freedom

And then the people who have come to control nature

It’s production and consumption for which they live...

However, their desire for unrestricted satisfaction

Will not bring them to the path of happiness they seek

It only goes down the path of utmost pleasure...

Without an answer, without breaking away from the paradox

It’s not clear how we might arrive at our time to pass this on

For the next generation

For the children we do not yet know, entrust hope...
